The technology from EMPUR® is ideal for subsequent installation of underfloor heating or cooling in existing buildings: CUT-THERM® is a dust-free cutting process that allows the use of water-filled EMPUR® underfloor heating without any additional structural height because channels are cut into the existing screed. The result is that smooth transitions are possible into other living spaces when you fit out individual rooms with CUT-THERM®. An additional floor structure is not required, the headroom for door openings remains and door panels do not have to be cut down.

The clever and particularly clean renovation solution is also characterised by quick and cost-effective laying because the structural requirements can be reduced to a minimum. Remaining screed drying times accelerate progress of the construction work, so that top floor covering can be applied after the underfloor heating pipes have been laid – often as early as the following day.
