Verified quality under one roof

KLIMAPEX® plastic heating pipes are the ideal combination for all EMPUR® floor heating systems, and provide maximum safety and flexibility for all applications. Interruption-free, fast and economic installation is guaranteed, thanks to the system components being perfectly adapted to each other.
The high quality of the KLIMAPEX® plastic heating pipes is guaranteed through internal production, permanent production controls by an experienced quality management team and verification by external testing institutes. DIN-CERTCO certificates and SKZ seals indicate excellent properties. In addition to this, EMPUR® guarantees 10-year material and consequential damage liability, if only EMPUR® system components are used (see EMPUR® warranty certificate).

Variety of versions by in-house-manufacturing


EMPUR® manufactures a standard range of plastic heating pipes as PE-Xa, PE-Xc and PE-RT in dimension of 10, 12, 15, 17, 20 and 25 mm. Other dimensions are available upon request.

The heating pipes can be used for floor heating, low-temperature heating, high-temperature heating and radiator heating as well as for connecting heaters.

KLIMAPEX® PE-Xa five-layer pipe

The KLIMAPEX® PE-Xa five-layer pipe constructed using the Engel process is a premium plastic pipe for harsh building site applications. The EVOH barrier layer is guarded against damage by the external PE protective layer.

Special characteristics and materials

  • Resistant against deformations and external influences as well as tension-crack formation
  • Robust and of exceptional quality, guaranteed by in-house production and control, as well as outside verification
  • High-pressure networked polyethylene as per the Engel process in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15875; cross-linking degree >= 70% in accordance with DIN 16892
  • Safety advantage for a consistent temperature of +95°C, short-term excess temperature (max. 2 years) +110°C, operating pressure 6 bar
We also produce the KLIMAPEX® PE-Xa five-layer pipe in a hook and loop version in-house. 

KLIMAPEX® PE-RT five-layer pipe

The KLIMAPEX® PE-RT five-layer pipe is a premium plastic pipe for harsh building site applications. The EVOH barrier layer is guarded against damage by the external PE protective layer.

Special characteristics and materials

  • Resistant against deformations and external influences as well as tension-crack formation
  • Robust and of exceptional quality, guaranteed by in-house production and control, as well as outside verification
  • Polyethylene in accordance to DIN EN ISO 22391 with insoluble EVOH barrier layer as per the unique HP process
  • Safety advantage for a consistent temperature of +70°C, short-term excess temperature (max. 2 years) +90°C, operating pressure 4 bar
We also produce the KLIMAPEX® PE-RT five-layer pipe in a hook and loop version in-house.
With appearance of our new price list on July 1, 2016, the proven and well-known KLIMAPEX® PE-RT plastic heating pipe has been launched with a new look. The PE-RT heating pipe in the dimension 15 x 1.8 mm as five-layer pipe is now available in our typical „EMPUR® green" colour:

KLIMAPEX® PE-Xc three-layer pipe

The proven KLIMAPEX® PE-Xc heating pipe is an extremely high-quality plastic pipe for all applications in panel heating/cooling and all special applications.

Special characteristics and materials

  • Resistant against deformations and external influences as well as tension-crack formation
  • Robust and of exceptional quality, guaranteed by in-house production and control, as well as outside verification
  • Physically networked polyethylene, cross-linking degree >= 60% in accordance with DIN 16892/93 and ISO 10508; insoluble, diffusion-resistant EVOH barrier layer using the unique HP process
  • Safety advantage for a consistent temperature of +95°C, short-term excess temperature (max. 2 years) +110°C, operating pressure 6 bar
